As Life Continues To Move Along...

  It's been a very long time since I've blog, but things have not change as much as I would like them to. I'm still working 4 jobs, no main squeeze, have not put my motorcycle back on the road since I blow the motor up, but I have begone to start a not for profit business for my granddaugther call `Tanesha Teas Inc.' The business deals with people coming together, as for now that's all I can say, but be on the lookout for the invitations. This bring to mind, now is the time school start back in motion and we must keep a look out for the little ones in the hood moving in and out of cars, school buses, and other unknown places on the planet.
  Well, that's it for now I'll get back with some new blogs once I get my work caught up and my bike back on the road, plus save some money to keep my car running well! oh man.

It started many years ago, but I didn't know I would be driving a School Bus.

     I was just a young boy at the time, about 10 or 11 years of age when my friend, while I was riding my Radio Flyer, pushed me into the side of a moving DC Transit Bus. I'm not going to say my friends name, although I was not hurt badly I did have some bruises on my left side and a profound love for driving. Now many years later, I'm driving a school bus and loving every second of the position.
     I found out as I drive the school bus everyday, that not everyone has the stamina to deal with the students on a school bus. Some students will constantly move around while the bus is moving which is a no, no. Some students will: fight while on the school bus, cures at the bus operator, exit the bus improperly (going out the windows), and some will even bring objects on the bus that they should not bring on a school bus. Still others, like the students on my bus, will act very responsible and be the greatest students in the world. If you operate a school bus and have students like that on your bus, let them know you care about them and that because of them, you have the desire to come to work on time everyday. It's your desire to make sure they get to school safely, and that with out them not only would you not have a job, but your job would be very hard to do.
   Many years ago, I had no idea that I would be driving a school bus, nor that I would love the position the way I do. Every job that I've had deals with the public, and it's because of that, I feel God has allowed me to speak the words of life to those I come in contact with. It's because of this connection I have with God, I am obligated to the people I come into contact with to try and lift their hearts to the awareness of Gods love for them, and to help them see beyond the now. The students I have on my school bus are like this! they look past the now and into the future. They look into the future, not because they're on my bus, but because when they get on or off my school bus, I let them know they are the future. I let them see that without them, the future may not get here.
    Just like my life changed for the better many years ago because of an encounter with a bus, the lives of many young people of today can be changed for the better because of an encounter with positive words from a school bus operator or anyone for that matter. So, if your position or job brings you into contact with people (especially young people) let them know that you're counting on them to help move mankind into the future with a bright and positive outlook on life.

On this day, everyone should have a dream.

   Many years ago, God blessed mankind by placing a soul on this planet we call earth. This soul would enlighten our hearts and minds when the time came to do so. The soul began to move through the currents of life, and by doing so touched millions of people. Some of which the soul brought with it to a higher level of  understanding, where still waters and marble buildings stood. The name of that soul is the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., born January 15, 1929-April 4, 1968 and the higher level of understanding was the I have a dream speech on the ellipse in Washington DC. Even though we celebrate Dr. Kings life on this date and not the date of the speech, we should always celebrate the dream of Peace everyday of our lives. Focusing our hearts and sights always on those things that connect people with, love and peace for all mankind.

This has been One great day in my life.

    I'm so grateful to the Most High; I woke up this morning not knowing what I would do when it was time for me to go back to work next week. Yet, the most high gave me the strength to work on my motorcycle. You see, my car is in the repair shop, it's been there for the past three weeks at the cost of a large amount of money, and they can't seem to find out what the problem is (mechanics). The car will start, run and go about fifty to sixty feet and stop, cut off, no more forward motion, so I began to work on my motorcycle. I tuned it up, change the oil, and check the timing, just to find out that all things where running well and it just needed an oil change. So hopefully, when Tuesday gets here I'll be able to get to work which is thirty miles from my house on the beltway, and not be late for work.
   I'm also grateful, because after getting out of bed (at 5:30 am), I turned my computer on to check my email and there in my mail was a email from one great person I know, who shares wisdom with others. They directed my attention to this website so that I would be able to increase my communicating skills and stay connected with people I go to school with. I believe I can keep pace with a group of social net workers and add some important insight to some discussions. This being my first blog on this site, I'm also hoping that others who blog, will check my blog out and give me some great feedback on things I need to do.
